Pup Notes Subprocessors
Version 1 · Effective
This is the latest version. The Subprocessors page always shows the latest version.
Pup Notes uses these companies to provide the service. Each may process personal information that practices store in Pup Notes ("practice personal data") under a written agreement, and only to provide its service to Pup Notes, except for Stripe's own processing described in the notes below. See the data processing addendum for how we add subprocessors.
We email practice owners at least 30 days before a new subprocessor starts processing practice personal data.

Notes
- OpenAI. OpenAI does not use Pup Notes content to train its models. It does not keep dictation audio. For AI drafting it may keep requests for up to 30 days to monitor for abuse, then deletes them.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service are global services. They process device tokens and installation identifiers; Pup Notes sends only generic notification text, such as "You have a new message in Pup Notes".
- Stripe processes client payments on each practice's own Stripe account under the practice's agreement with Stripe. Stripe also uses payment information as an independent company for its own purposes, such as fraud prevention, security and legal compliance, under Stripe's privacy policy.
Services you choose to connect
These are not Pup Notes subprocessors. They receive data only when a trainer connects them, under the trainer's own account with that provider:
- Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook calendar: appointment times and minimal appointment details added to the calendar the trainer selects. Pup Notes reads only busy times.
- Apple Calendar: a private subscription link that the trainer adds to their own calendar.
