Pup Notes Referral Program Terms

These terms add to the Pup Notes Terms of Service for practices that take part in the referral program.

1. Who can refer

Every practice with a paid Pup Notes subscription gets a referral link.

2. How it works

1. Share your referral link with another dog-training business.
2. They create a Pup Notes practice through your link. The referred practice must be new to paid Pup Notes: it must never have paid for a Pup Notes subscription before.
3. When the referred practice pays for its first month, both practices receive a credit equal to one month of the base plan, at the list price when the credit is issued ($29 today), on their Pup Notes subscription.

3. Credits

• Credits are applied to your Pup Notes subscription balance and reduce your next subscription charges. On an annual plan, credits apply to your next renewal.
• A practice can receive up to 12 referral credits per calendar year.
• Credits have no cash value. They don't expire while your account is open, and they are lost if your account closes.
• If the referred practice's first payment is refunded or charged back within 30 days, both credits for that referral are reversed.

4. Self-referrals

A practice can't refer itself. Referrals between practices with the same owner, the same payment method or the same owner email domain don't earn credits. Free email providers (such as gmail.com) don't count as a shared domain.

5. Reviews and disclosure

• Rewards never depend on reviews. You earn the same credit whether or not you review Pup Notes, and whatever any review says.
• When you recommend Pup Notes publicly, for example on social media, in a group, on a website or in a podcast, say that you get a credit if people sign up through your link. For example: "I get a credit if you sign up with my link." The Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guidance requires this.

6. Changes

We may change or end the referral program with 30 days' notice. Credits you've already earned are honored.
