Pup Notes Messaging Terms

These terms apply when you agree to receive text messages from a dog-training practice that uses Pup Notes. Pup Notes (Odd Bird Labs LLC) provides the texting technology. The practice named in each message is the sender.

What you'll receive

Appointment and service texts (if you tick the text-message box when you book or in the client portal; agreeing to texts isn't required to book):

• appointment confirmations, reminders and changes;
• homework reminders;
• reminders when a dog's vaccination record is about to expire; and
• messages from the practice's staff, and their replies to you.

Marketing texts (only if you also tick the separate marketing box): occasional reminders to book again and news about the practice's services. You don't have to agree to marketing texts to book or buy anything.

Frequency and cost

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reminder texts are sent only between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. in your local time. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Stopping texts

• Reply STOP to any text to stop texts from that practice. QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL and UNSUBSCRIBE also work, and so does asking in your own words, such as "please stop texting me".
• You'll get one text confirming you've been unsubscribed. After that, the practice won't text you unless you opt in again.
• Opting out stops all texts from that practice unless you choose to stop only some of them. It doesn't affect other practices you work with.
• To start again, reply START or opt in from the client portal.
• You'll still receive email and in-app messages from the practice. Change those in the client portal.

Your information

We don't share mobile phone numbers or text-message opt-in data and consent with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See the Pup Notes privacy policy for how your information is handled.

Changes

If you change your phone number, update it in the client portal so texts don't go to someone else. We may update these terms; the current version is always at this address.
